We may think that electrons are running very quickly through the currents
in our electricity; however, they are in fact moving extremely slowly. Electrons fill up the wire all along its entire length, and when the switch is turned on, they push each other forward ever so slowly. It is as resin dripping from a
tree, oozing down, and fossilizing into beautiful amber.

Premiere: February 27, 2017 by the Lemberg Sinfonietta at Lviv Philharmonic Society (Ukraine).

Third prize winner for the Musica per archi 2017 Composers Competition by KLKNewMusic.com.
